I am a Registered Psychologist. I have a B.A. in Psychology/Women and Gender Studies and M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology. My goal as a counsellor is to create space to explore challenges, seek solutions and clarity, and celebrate successes. I value a sense of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in my practice working from a person-centered, strength-based approach.
My areas of interest include working with children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of anxiety (social/generalized), depression, stress management, relationships, trauma, attachment, self-esteem/personal identity, and personal growth. The main therapeutic approaches I draw from include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness and somatic/body-centered based approaches, expressive arts, and I am trained in EMDR (Level 1 and 2).
In my spare time I enjoy riding my bike, enjoying nature, curling, and I’m slowly learning to enjoy the game of golf!
I am accepting new clients for Saturdays during the day.
